I painted this little guy for my friends over at @urbancowboybnb to thank them for being a refuge for us in the madness that is New York city on two occasions (that feel more like ten). It’s amazing how quickly a place can feel like home when the people are warm and lovely. I’m honoured to say that this piece has pride of place above the fireplace at the original Urban Cowboy B&B in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I’m really hoping we’ll be able to visit again someday soon.
