SLANGKOP LIGHTHOUSE
Kommetjie, on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula, is home to the country’s tallest cast-iron lighthouse, at 34 metres (112 feet) high. Slangkop translates from Afrikaans as ‘snake head’.
